A soft terracotta
Neither brick nor rust: a pinkish earth, lightly powdered, that flatters skin tones and goes with brown, khaki, cream and black.

The damask design
Wide flowering scrolls unroll across the whole jacket, as on an antique fabric. The tone-on-tone pattern adds depth without adding contrast.

The quilting stays fine. The jacket warms your chest and arms and is comfortable to keep on indoors, which isn't true of a coat.
